And again, here are the closer up images of each side:

Shiny left!
Dated right! πŸ˜€

This whole thing took me these many days to complete:

June 6th–11th & June 19th. 2016

ALSO! I did ANOTHER coloring page that I mentioned to you guys this week, and here is how that bugger came out!

Marp! Here it is!
Picking up the shine.
A more angled capture of the shine and the bird.

This one took two days, June 20th and 22nd! πŸ˜€

I used mixed media here as well, watercolor and pearlescent watercolor, pens, marker pens and a white gel pen.

For the prior coloring page I used watercolor, pearlescent watercolor, pens, and I think that’s it! πŸ™‚

I’ve now completed about 3 works in the “Enchanted Forest” coloring book, alongside the three I’ve completed in the “Secret Garden” one. πŸ˜€ Those ones, though, I’ll have to upload for you all another time. πŸ™‚

Here’s what that fancy lantern looks like:

Today I have scheduled some scrapbooking, a potential photo shoot, some reading and some blogging it up to do! πŸ™‚

I’ve also been cooking up an idea for a project I want to share with you all here, so tune in for that later today! I may be able to write about that in the daily prompt today. πŸ™‚

For now, it’s break time for me! Hope you enjoyed this colorful flare!! πŸ™‚

Stay safe!

Hi, my name is Raquel Lyons! I graduated in December 2018 with a BS in psychology from UMass Boston. I live with the cutest Chinese hamster ever named Galaxy with my Labrador retriever mix pupper Mocha (she is The Mokeys). My first little furry pal was named Nova, who was such a sweetheart. I love gazebos, color, ART, blogging, and most days--life! I am a mental health advocate, involved with NAMI-MA as an In Our Own Voice presenter. Upon graduating I plan on becoming more involved with NAMI's IOOV and peer-to-peer mentor recovery class, getting paid work for writing about mental health, find a neutral job (retail), work as a peer with lived experience (peer mentor) and eventually settle into a certified peer specialist role. I have dreams of starting a nonprofit organization under the name of this blog, writing several books (a memoir, a collection of my Mass Media articles and recovery oriented ones, a fiction novel, etc.), one day giving a TEDtalk and eventually returning for my master's in art therapy. Until then, here is my journey from one pole (recovery) to the next (wellness). I blog about mental health, my own experiences, #RecoveryHome, life updates, Recovery Restoration, book reviews, film reviews and more! Feel free to contact me any time. I'd love to hear from you!
